Due to lack of funding from the state, PTA's (Parent Teacher Association's) are responsible for raising much needed funds for their schools. Barrett PTA raises money each year to help fund Department Stipends, Mini-Grants for Science Olympiad, Band, Tech, Performing Arts, Art, Yearbook/Media; school supplies and much more.
