Cottage Update April 28

Greetings Cottage Families,

We all understand that these are new, and sometimes, difficult times that we are dealing with.  While some have started to find a groove with studying and participation in lessons, we are all still dealing with issues that may affect us academically and emotionally.  San Juan Unified School District offers various supports and below are updates and contact information for technology support and support for social emotional concerns.

Also, we still have some student materials on campus that have not been picked up.  If you have not picked up your child's materials, please come by the office on Mondays from 10:00-12:00 to pick up the materials.

New tool for students, families and staff seeking mental health or social emotional support now available

Ensuring that our community is mentally, physically, and socially well is a priority for San Juan Unified. While our staff continues to check in with the students to whom they’ve been providing ongoing support, we know that in these uncertain times, additional support for others may be needed as well.

If you or someone you know needs support, please visit www.sanjuan.edu/gethelp and complete the request form.

Requests are confidential and all referrals will be responded to as soon as possible.

A flier is available if you'd like to share this resource with others.

Chromebook pick-up still available through appointments

The district has loaned out more than 21,000 Chromebooks to students to support distance learning. Should a family still need a device for their student, they can schedule an appointment to pick up a device by using the Technology Services online appointment scheduling system.

For technical support for Chromebooks and other devices, please contact the San Juan Unified Help Desk at (916) 971-7195 or at Support@sanjuan.edu.
