San Juan Unified students win big at 2019 SEVA Award Night

On May 5 several San Juan Unified students were honored during the annual Student Educational Video Awards (SEVA) Night, hosted by the Sacramento Educational Cable Consortium.

SEVA Award Night celebrates the talents and visions of student video producers and allows students the opportunity to express their creative side in five different categories: Creative Expression, Documentary, Instructional, Public Service Announcements, and School News.

San Juan Unified students, ranging from fourth to twelfth grade, submitted 39 videos and received five honorable mentions and four SEVA Awards.

  • Documentary Grades 9-12 Karlyn’s Strive for Equality by Del Campo High School (SEVA Award)

  • School News Grades 9-12 Academic Decathlon by Del Campo High School (SEVA Award)
