San Juan Unified's district and school offices to reopen on Aug. 3
With the 2020-2021 school year right around the corner, San Juan Unified is excited to announce the reopening of school and district offices starting Monday, Aug. 3. With school staff now back to work for the year, main offices will be open.
Families are strongly encouraged to call, email, or schedule Zoom meetings with office staff and school administrators whenever possible rather than visiting an office. Many services can now be provided online including enrollment.
When it is necessary to visit, offices will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily. (Offices may be closed for 30 minutes to provide staff lunch breaks if necessary.) There are a few important safety precautions you should know before visiting:
Only school offices or district department offices will be open. All other parts of school campuses remain closed.
Before visiting, you should be free of a fever, cough, shortness of breath or any other COVID-19 symptoms for at least 72 hours.
You must maintain six feet of physical distance from other individuals.
The number of individuals allowed into an office may be limited at any one time to allow for maintaining proper physical distancing.
Face coverings are required at all times when waiting to enter a building or once inside. If outside on school grounds, a face covering is required if you are unable to maintain six feet of physical distance with other individuals.
Each school office will be open as will district offices that provide public services, including human resources for job applicants, payroll, the front lobby, technology support desk, and the enrollment center. All offices can be reached at their regular phone numbers or email addresses.
