Board hears report on local indicators on state accountability dashboard
Staff provided a report on the Local Education Agency’s (LEA) measurement of progress for the local indicators related to the state accountability dashboard.
Using the California-adopted self-reflection tool, districts annually measure progress for each local indicator, report results to the local governing board as part of a non-consent item at the same public meeting in which the LCAP is adopted, and report results to the public through the state’s accountability dashboard. Results from local measures were presented for the following priorities:
Priority Area 1: Basic Services - Met performance level
Priority Area 2: State Standards - Met performance level
Priority Area 3: Parent Engagement - Met performance level
Priority Area 6: School Climate - Met performance level
Priority Area 7: Broad Course of Study - Met performance level
The Fall 2022 State Dashboard, expected to be released in December 2022, will include the local measures.
