San Juan Unified students honored at 2022 SEVA awards night

More than a dozen San Juan Unified students were honored during the annual  Student Educational Video Awards (SEVA) Night, hosted by the Sacramento Educational Cable Consortium on May 1.

The annual SEVA Awards Night celebrated student video producers with a red carpet experience before showcasing the winning videos from five different categories: Creative Expression, Documentary, Instructional, Public Service Announcements and School News.

This year, San Juan Unified students submitted 64 videos and received three Defining 2021 Awards, eight Honorable Mentions and four SEVA Awards.
