San Juan Unified seeking members for Strategic Planning Task Force

San Juan Unified is looking for people to serve on a task force to help revise the district’s Strategic Plan and create the framework for the next three-year Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP). These plans guide our development of programs and services, our use of resources and our evaluation of progress over time. Task Force members will engage in conversation around how to better help all students succeed, and especially English learners, foster and homeless youth, students with disabilities, and low-income students.

A group of 35 people representing the diverse students, families, staff and other stakeholders in San Juan Unified will be selected from those who are interested.

Participants should commit to:

  • Study orientation materials before first session
  • Attend all planning sessions
  • Share draft and collect feedback between sessions
  • Participate on a subcommittee (optional)

If you are interested in applying to be a part of the task force, visit www.sanjuan.edu/sptaskforce by June 14. Participants will be notified of their selection by June 28. A flier is available with additional details. Fliers are also available in Spanish, ArabicFarsiRussian and Ukrainian
