Family education classes and workshops offered this spring
San Juan Unified's Family and Community Engagement team will be offering a variety of family education classes and workshops this spring. Parents, guardians and staff are invited to participate. Classes are held at various locations in the district and cover a wide range of topics such as co-parenting, supporting difficult teenage behavior, learning about parent leadership opportunities, internet safety tips and more!
The goal of our family education classes is to empower and build skills for parents who want to learn how they can support their student's success. This is a great opportunity to meet other parents in the district and create a positive impact at home. Some of our classes even fulfill the requirements for court-mandated classes.
If needed, family education classes include childcare and translation services for participants. For more information or to register for a class, please visit www.sanjuan.edu/familyed or contact the Family and Community Engagement office at (916) 971-7929.
