In lieu of giving me a present at the holidays or during Teacher Appreciation Week, please consider donating a book to the classroom in your child's name.

It could be a new copy of a book you and your child have treasured for years, or the latest release of a popular book series. If your child brings a special book to the classroom, I will have a special ceremony where they present the book to the classroom, write a message on the inside cover, and then they place the book in the room. It's a very special event for children and they LOVE to donate a book to their classmates. In addition, please consider using Scholastic when you purchase books for your child. My class will receive credit and I'll use the points towards purchasing new books for the students. Hooray for literacy!
