Curbside meal services to extend through summer break

Fliers are available in English, Spanish, Arabic, Farsi-Dari, Russian and Ukrainian.

San Juan Unified’s Nutrition Services department is making changes to how students will be receiving their meals over the summer break.

Starting June 10, families will be able to pick up two meals daily (lunch and breakfast) in a walk-up or drive-thru format from nine schools:

  • Casa Roble Fundamental High School, 9151 Oak Avenue, Orangevale
  • El Camino Fundamental High School, 4300 El Camino Avenue, Sacramento
  • Mira Loma High School, 4000 Edison Avenue, Sacramento
  • Rio Americano High School, 4540 American River Drive, Sacramento
  • Thomas Edison Language Institute K-8, 2950 Hurley Way, Sacramento
  • Bella Vista High School, 8301 Madison Avenue, Fair Oaks
  • Will Rogers Middle School, 4924 Dewey Drive, Fair Oaks
  • Mesa Verde High School, 7501 Carriage Drive, Citrus Heights
  • San Juan High School, 7551 Greenback Lane, Citrus Heights

The summer meal service will be offered Monday through Friday from June 10 through Aug. 6 from 10:30 to 11 a.m.

All children utilizing the summer meal program must be present on the first day of meal pick-up to receive a green validation form. Parents and guardians can then use that form throughout the summer break to pick up meals for children that are not present.
